School- Based Youth Health Nurse
My name is Louise McMullen, I am the School Based Youth Health Nurse for Ravenshoe State School - Secondary.
This role focuses on preventative health for young people with access to a confidential health service.
The SBYHN can support students with
- Mental health, including social and emotional wellbeing
- Respectful relationships
- Stress
- Eating issues
- Sexual and reproductive health
- Drugs (including tobacco and alcohol)
- Growth and development
- Any general health & wellbeing concerns.
