Junior Secondary at Ravenshoe State School P – 12 is a distinct phase of education that specifically caters to the learning and emotional development of young adolescents in Years 7, 8 and 9. Students within this age group engage in a holistic curriculum, with our program specifically designed to assist students to reach their full potential and recognises the diversity of talents junior students bring to our community. All junior secondary students engage with the Australian Curriculum.
Our Junior Secondary students are encouraged to espouse our school expectations of respect, safety and learning.
Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that allows students to develop and strengthen their knowledge and skills in order to prepare them academically, socially and emotionally for their future endeavours.
