Here at Ravenshoe State School P-12 we are uniquely placed to provide our students with a wide variety of agricultural experiences to develop knowledge and skills focused on the relationship between the land, the animals, the environment and the people/community.
In 2018 we upgraded our 60 year old dairy to a DAIRYMASTER MILK PARLOUR which consists of fully automated Electronic Identification, Milk Meters, Feeder Units, Three way Draft and a Dairymaster Milk Manager PC System. To help our students and Milking staff monitor 100 head of cattle including a milking herd of 50 head is the MooMonitor animal wellbeing data collars. This positions Ravenshoe State School P-12 as one of the most technically advanced dairy programs in Queensland.
